Taksi was created as an Open Source program that allows you to take screenshots and record video clips. X-Taksi is a portable version of the aforementioned software. Taksi supports live video compression with any VFW video codec your system has installed. Moreover, Taksi supports user-specified key mapping. This feature lets you assign almost any key to a particular function (video start / stop, screenshot trigger, etc).
